The Van society

The Van Society are a well established GTA crew focused on the PS4 for mature gamers who like to approach GTAO from a different angle to get the most out of the game.

Since the beginning of this crew we’ve been hosting events every week and we still do.

We also have a great collection of User Created Jobs we have created and collected over the years. Just browse the Jobs section to find some excellent tried and tested jobs.

  • Everybody’s gone to the Raptor

    As longest serving current member of the society of VANS, I thought I had better pull my finger out from up my bottom, and actually try and host something for the first time since PS3.

    As you all know, I’m a skinflint, a tight a*se, a penny pinching bellend! So when I saw that the Raptor was free last week in GTA, and that I was, at the time, playing through Everybody’s Gone to The Rapture, an idea was born inside my tiny little mind.

    We will have a playlist of 8 races to crown king of the Raptors. There will also be 1 stupid daft race at the end just for the lols.

    At the start of each race, one driver will have the chance to earn themselves a 15 second head start by answering a delightfully evil trivia question from the very depths of CatMan’s mind (and also google).

    This event is for members of RSC only for ease of sorting questions out and if everyone could sign up by Midday on Wednesday that would be fan-bloody-tastic.

    Usual Rules apply, no police, no weapons, don’t be a bellend yada yada.

    So, will you be a veloci-raptor or………………………………………….. Nope couldn’t think of a pun.

    To celebrate one of our favourite long-standing members getting a new car this week we will be running Colin the Coupe night! All you have to do is turn up in a matte grey, stock Bolokan Prairie to get involved.

    As usual we will be running GTA races so buying the car isn’t essential, it’s just for a bit of fun at the start of the night.

    Remember the rules, don’t be a bell end, behave yourself in free-roam. No shooting, no explosions and no police!

    Come and join the Van society for The Vapid Cup Round 6 on 15/07/2020 at 20:00 BST. This Championship will put the Vapid brand cars through their paces over an ongoing series of races. The racing will take place roughly every other week as we make our way through the car Vapid has to offer.

    The Vapic vehicles to be used in this round will be announced on RSCnet.

  • It’s a Felony!

    Come and join us on Wednesday 29th July for It’s a Felony! Bring your Felon along to support Eser on his first official VANS event.

    Everybody races in the regular Felon (fully upgraded). Pole is decided by 1 question before the start of every race. The one who answers it correctly gets pole position. Questions are random questions about everything (could be about animals, geography, history, science etc. etc.) There will be a total of 8 races, 7 in the Felon and the last race will be a mystery race.

    We will all gather in Eser’s nightclub before the event. After meeting in the nightclub we will start a ‘find my car’. The searchers can only use normal cars (no Mk2, Deluxo etc.) I will hide my own felon somewhere in the city and I will give away some clues slowly. The one who finds my car will always start 3rd on the grid on every race except the mystery race or if he gets the question right.

    Top 3 of every race will start at the back on the next race. Except for the finder of my car and the one who gets the question right.
